The hotel claims to be 4 stars. I would argue 3 star at most.
The bed was hard. The pillows were slightly thicker than a towel. The bathroom door slides into the wall, with the consequence that the door handle falls off every single time you open the door.
The breakfast was a disappointment. Plastic cups for juice from a machine. Dirty glass bowls for the cereal.
I wanted to try the pancakes, which are served cold (not very 4 star). A women shouted “servicio!”, and got into place on the other side of the buffet table, and gave me two pancakes. I do not consider that “effort” to be 4 star.
Also. Like others have pointed out, it looks nothing like in the pictures.
Before coming to this we had stayed at a 5 star hotel, and we left for a 3 star hotel.
The hotel Antelao does not come within the same ballpark as the 5 star hotel, and was easily beaten by the 3 star hotel.
And for this “experience” they had the guts to charge 260€.
Do not bok this hotel!
