My first hostel experience, about as good as you should expect from a hostel. The only thing is that they require your passport emailed to them ahead of time, and they don't accept it when you check in. Which feels super dumb. Just accept the passports at check in. It wasn't an issue for us because we saw the instruction and did it. But I watched several groups argue with the front desk dude. He said they lost $10,000 last year to false bookings, and that's why they require passports; which is fine, but why not accept them at the front desk? ! literally watched him have to refund almost a $1000 for various travelers because of it. In one weekend. So surely they're losing more than $10k a year for that weird stipulation. Everywhere accepts the passports at check in. Feels totally optional.
Anyway, good experience though. They cleaned everyday, the bathrooms were good. The pods are temu plastic boxes and the usb thing didn't work on ours, but they had other charging spots. It might get a little hot, the "AC" is a computer fan in the pod. Pods don't lock btw, but we felt safe. Overall it was great.
