The "hotel" is actually a motel and the room pics on the web are AI generated and make the rooms look much larger than they are. While the room pics and external photos are misleading, the rooms are very clean and current, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms have been recently updated and are a good size (especially considering that the rooms are so small) and the staff was terrific. The location is fantastic, smack in the middle of Tahoe city just across the street from "Commons" Beach and only a short drive from Alpine Meadows and Pallisades @ Tahoe. The only real negative that I have is that they play music in the lobby well into the evening, and if your room is in the front of the "hotel" you can hear the music through the walls of the room. While I liked the music that they played, I would rather not have to hear it when I am trying to sleep. All things considered, I would definitely stay here again.
