Disappointing aftermath
This is a beautiful hotel that I visited together with my colleagues during the CIFF fair in March 2019.
My rating should have been much higher, between 4 and 5, if I hadn’t had such a negative surprise after my stay, finding out that my company credit card was skimmed here.
When discussing with my colleague after the bank had contacted me, he had noticed that the staff at the reception desk noted the card details on a piece of paper. The bank told me it is a quite common scam at hotels in low salary countries where the staff sells the information on to criminals.
So be aware, not only here but everywhere. Pay in advance if possible.
Besides that bad experience I must say that the evening buffet at the ground floor restaurant is one of the most spectacular I have seen.
When visiting the fair it is off course very convenient to stay here as it is next door.
