Our reservation was ’lost’ when we tried to check in & they told us that management allows 3rd party sites to overbook. I blame both the owners & Hotels.com for this. Needless to say, we were not happy after a long day of flying (10,5 hours from Sweden) that they couldn’t ’find’ our reservation. After about 20-30 min. we were given a room at a sister hotel, then moved back to Aqua the next day (after we complained about late cleaning, non-existant wifi, and that the missing kitchen table which they said would arrive first thing still hadn’t been delivered). We were given an upgrade to a one-bedroom suite @ Aqua and the room was great! However, the wifi still didn’t work and I was unable to get any work done. This issue plus the late cleaning (around 4pm every day) were the two major downsides to our stay. As others have pointed out, the hotel needs some professional renovation work, but it is a nice place to stay with friendly and helpful staff.
