My first impression was that we had found the perfect low-price hostel. The staff was nice, the location was great (located in the absolute centre of central Gdansk), and the hostel looked nice and clean. It wasn't until we went to bed that we realized that we would have some difficulty falling asleep. First of all the traffic outside is crazy loud (maybe we're a bit sensitive since we're not used to it, but we couldn't sleep with the window open because of the noice and even with it closed I still had to sleep with earplugs), the room was quite warm and with the windows closed it got a bit sweaty, but the absolute biggest disappointment was the huge spotlight, put up right outside the window to light up a huge ad board, that lit up the whole room at night. And it wasn't only us who suffered from that but the whole floor, so my advice is to ask for a room on the topfloor, although I'm not sure they were any better. The breakfast was fairly ok except for that one day when it was nonexistent. Other than that it really was a nice and clean hostel and if it weren't for the fact that I had to sleep with ear plugs and a blindfold I'd probably stay there again.
