Extremely disappointing. Bad service. Bizarre attempt to justify why our room hadn't been cleaned the first day. Exactly the same happened the next day, no cleaning. Lack of understanding from the front desk. The rooms were dark, dated, cold, damp and very small. We had two rooms that should be connected. When asking for doorstops to keep the doors between the rooms open, the staff told us that "the guests usually don't need that, they use something on their own". Breakfast buffet at the restaurant next door for 35 USD was a joke. For that price something more than the few dishes offered could be expected, and maybe also an attempt to smile or provide some kind of service... All in all, it could not have been worse. We will stay somewhere else than at this terrible, overpriced hotel next time we come to NYC.
