Disaster room management and stuffy rooms
Very poor arrival experience. Due to flight delay, we arrived a day late. We did the right thing and called the hotel that we will be check in a day late, which they acknowledged. Upon arriving, we were told that our room (3 bedrooms) was no longer available and that we had to stay in two separate rooms and then move to a 3 bedroom suite a day later. Further, they told us that our room was considered cancelled! I have paid in full in advance therefore the hotel should have hold the room for us. At no point did we mention we want to cancel our room. It was 11pm and we travelled with two young children and exhausted. It took them almost half and hour to get someone senior to sort out a 3 bedroom for us. The front desk seems to be run by students who had no initiatives, no customer service skills and like robots. Highly disappointing and infuriating situation. In addition, the air conditioning in our room was almost non existence. The AC unit was just blowing the same air out of the vents, which were very noisy and we never had a decent night of sleep. An experience that I would rather forget. Never this hotel again.
