When I arrived the room was not prepared . Later I got sheets only on one side of the doubble bed. Cleaning was minimal during my four nigt stay. There was no TV set and no functioning phone in the room and they could not , or did not, want to solve this problem. Because of this I had to spend a lots of money for long distance cell phone calls. When I connected the existing hotel phone into the connector the phone rang at every call to the hotel ( Just as in Kafka´s Castle), but I could not get a line. The third day - one day early - they took out all bedding from my bed, becouse. by mistake, the hotel thougt I would leave that day. I happened to be in the room and told them that i was booked one more night, so they replaced the bedding but on the evening one bed sheet was still missing ! SURREALISTICLY ABSURD ! At check out I wanted to speak with the hotel manager, who was a blond lady not speaking (or wanted to not speak) any foreigh languages, so the kind reception lady transleted to me that the manager was not willing to give me any refund because of the missimg TV and my extra phone cost and she ignores totally my complaint or if I complain to Hotels.com.
So, now it is up to Hotels.com to show, that they have some influence over the hotel and have some quality garanty - Please, ensure that such unworthy hotels will be delisted from any serious travel websites.
