A Disappointing Stay in Germany
My experience at this hotel was unfortunately below expectations, leaving me to rate it 2.5 out of 5.
Check-In:
The check-in process was unreasonably slow, taking 25 minutes despite there being two staff members behind the counter. Only one of them was actively assisting guests, which was frustrating after a long journey.
Bar Voucher Issues:
As part of the stay, I received a €13 voucher intended for use at the bar. However, the bar staff were inexperienced and unable to process it on the first evening. I was told to try again the next day, only to find the bar closed and the voucher unusable with breakfast or any other services.
Breakfast:
The breakfast was underwhelming. While cold dishes were available, ordering hot items such as poached eggs, scrambled eggs, or an omelet came with disappointingly small portions—barely five spoonfuls served on tiny plates. This left me unsatisfied and unimpressed.
Room Quality:
On a positive note, the room was clean and fresh, and the bed was decent, though not exceptional.
Service:
One redeeming aspect of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the male Spanish-speaking receptionist. He was friendly, professional, and accommodating—a true asset to the hotel and a model for hospitality everywhere.
Conclusion:
Overall, the service inconsistencies, disappointing breakfast, and issues with the bar overshadowed the positives. While the room was fine and one staff member stood out for
