There were mice in the beds!
I dont even know where to start.
We stayed here because it was the only room left near Wellington.
The hotel does not match the pictures advertised.
We were put in an old and nasty bungalow next to the newer buidling shown in the pictures.
The room was discusting and also missing a bed. The unfriendly receptionist put up an uncomfortable bed sofa to substitute the missing bed.
Later returning from dinner we discovered both cockroaches and mice in the room. As it was already very late we tried to ignore them.
As I lay down on the sofa bed more mice came up over the pillow and ran over my face. I panicked.
After 30 calls to 2 different emergency numbers we finally got in contact with the owner and and he and his son came with a can of insect repellent to solve our situation?!?
At that time it was 11.30 pm and we asked for another room. The owner said that there was no other room and we asked for our money back. The owner said that if we wanted our money back we had to leave the room immediately or we would be charged the whole fee. As we then left and asked for our money back the owner got violent and starting threatening both us and the other guests.
We got scared and left and the 4 of us had to spend the whole night in the car in 7 degrees.
The hotel has NOT payed back our money.
We eventually got our money back from Hotels.com who were helpful but the hotel ignored all their calls and emails after the incident.
