Cozy cabin but would not recommend
Hard to find the cabins. We used our GPS and the address given to the cabin and still ended up at the wrong place and had to ask for directions. No signs at all. The cabins were "hidden" behind a hostel. Very small and rough way up to the house, also it seemed like a building site on the way up to the cabin.
When we finally arrived at the cabin the key was in the door and the lights were on. We weren't sure if we could just enter or if we had to check-in since there were no information on that part. We went down to the hostel to ask in the recepetion if they knew anyting, but the recepetion was empty and no staff were nearby. We decided to just enter without anyone knowing we had arrived.
The first impression was that the cabin was very cozy and the view was nice. We enjoyed our stay except for the fact that alot of the things in the kitchen weren't clean at all, such as: oven trays, cups, plates etc. And the shower curtain wasn't very fresh. There was supposed to be wi-fi according to our booking, but the cabins do not have any wi-fi which was very annoying. And we found it odd that not once during our 5 days stay no one came to greet us welcome, ask if we needed anything, had any questions etc. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay! Scotland is beautiful!
We would recommend to do grocery shopping in Inverness where you can find bigger stores with better prices. It's approx. a 40 minutes drive
