New highrise building and five stars. So the expectations are high as one checks in to this new hotel. Maybe too new? The room was spacey, great view, comfortable beds, the closets and drawers large enough for plenty of stuff. High-tech with modern bathroom. The staff is welcoming and hard working. But there is also some problems present. The most important one is the breakfast. The ambition is up there with the five stars, but restaurant is too small, under-equipped and under- staffed to handle the volume of guests that show up for breakfast. We had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated. Service was sub-par throughout, cutlery and plates was lacking, coffee/juice-service was slow and the fab egg menue was only presented to some customers (to avoid an overload in the kitchen?). The staff did the best they could under the circumstances. Sorry to say - I must recommend anyone staying here to avoid this experience. Have breakfast somewhere else! It is not a good start of your day.
The dinner in the same restaurant the evening before was a MUCH more pleasurable event. Great food, great service and absolutely ok prices. Check-out was efficient and valet service good!
