Close to the beautiful nature and waterfalls
It's a place close to the beautiful nature of Raiatea. It's very close to the hike to the 3 waterfalls, which. There are no marked trail, but we managed to find our way. Try to find your way there - it's well worth it!
The bungalows are in a garden with lots of land crabs, chickens and roosters, and two kind dogs. There were also a lot of mosquito so bring your mosquito repellent and some coils to light on the terrace during the night. There are also a lot of small lizards living in the garden and around the bungalows, but they do no harm.
Our bungalow had one room (with one double bed and one single bed), bathroom with shower and a outdoor kitchen under roof. We were three persons staying in this bungalow, but unfortunately there where only 1 mosquito net for the large bed, so our own travel mosquito net came well in hand. The bungalow had a fan, which we used together with open windows to do our best to cool of the bungalow for a nice sleep. The outdoor kitchen was well equipped for simple cooking, and the washing machine is great when you are out on a long travel.
Pension les 3 cascade are not very close to restaurants, and not close to the only beach on Raiatea. We didn't have a car, but if you want to see more of Raiatea it's recommended to rent one. We didn't find the shore close to the accommodation nice for a swim. There are a supermarket 1,5 km away, was ok but pricy. The people having Pension les 3 cascade were very friendly and helpful.
