Great Inn - just don’t use the kitchen
Great central location and clean rooms. Breakfast of pastry, juice and coffee available in the small kitchenette. Kitchenette is listed as an available amenity for guests, as is the fridge within the kitchenette. We put a small lunch bag in the bottom of the fridge and promptly found a note to remove it immediately. We also loaded our coffee cups used during the day directly in the dishwasher and was told off for that as well. Receptionist hovers around you when you are using the coffee machine offering to take over the coffee making. Kitchen is not really a guest amenity and we didn’t feel at ease using it.

A lucky find
Excellent great staff and service. Room tastefully decorated, with a little lounge and well stocked kitchen as a bonus. Position very good with great restaurants nearby. For breakfast, MacDonalds and Subway virtually either side of entrance.

Convenient location, lovely rooms
Amazing location, lovely spot to stay. Beds are comfy. Rooms are quiet and dark at night time. Open the windows and you have a view of the Duomo. Rooms have air conditioning, bar fridge, and couch. 3 minute walk to the Galleria dell'Academia, 5 minute walk to the Duomo, 15 minute walk to the train station. Very pleasant stay.

This property is excellent and our host was flexible, kind, courteous and always happy to serve us. It was within easy walking distance of the Duomo, excellent food and shopping. The Accademia Gallery is right around the corner and the Ufizzi gallery is nearby. Croissants and coffee are available for breakfast for free.

Nice room close to the Duomo
This was not exactly a hotel, more like converted rooms in an old apartment building. The elevator was VERY small and the place was very hard to find, there was no signage. Once we were inside, it was comfortable but small. There were drinks and coffee in a common area and the check in was very pleasant. We only stayed one night, and that was great, as Florence was super crowded and we couldn't wait to leave.

the hotel is gorgeous with beautiful rooms, a nice common living space and kitchenette with free water, coffee, teas (free water is practically a luxury in Europe). The building itself has the tiniest elevator I’ve ever seen, only one of us with a suitcase fit at a time and we were dropped off right at the door and still thought we were in the wrong place because the sign was just a small brass plaque that we didn’t notice at first. Location otherwise is good though, we walked to San Marco piazza and the Cathedral (duomo). Train station is also only a 15 min walk (or the same length to drive). The city is just packed with people constantly so keep in mind how busy it is

Loved the staff!!!
The staff and service at San Giuliano Inn Was exceptional! I felt like I was at home with family. They made me and my niece feel extremely welcomed! It is a great location! Upon arrival, I was a little concerned because there is some street const ruction! But I would stay here again, even with the construction! Their room was clean! Cappuccino was amazing!

I stayed in four properties during this past trip and this was the best of them. It felt like I was staying in a private guest house with all the amenities of a fancy hotel. The staff were helpful and attentive. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. And, I so appreciated the nearby kitchen where I could access tea or warm water to nurse my sore throat. The hotel is centrally located - only a few minutes walk from the L'Accademia and the Domo. But, make sure you lift some weights before staying at this property - you'll need the strength to pull open the very large (and probably ancient!) doors to the building.

It was challenging to confirm an arrival time with the hotel. Check in is by appointment only, and they could not accommodate a 9 pm arrival. It was challenging for us to enter the building as the key did not work well. The room itself was small but clean.

This was a great convenient stay in the city, very nice, quiet and clean The staff was welcoming. Dexter was very helpful. A few things to mention, the space is four flights up steps or reachable by a very compact 2-person elevator. Outside of the Inn, there was quite a bit of street construction. I could work with those limits and would stay again.

Perfect Little Hotel
Our short stay was perfect. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were greeted with a cappuccino and a smile. We woke up with additional cappuccinos and croissants with our own personal chef. Best hotel we stayed at on our trip. If we ever make it back to Florence, we know where we will be staying. Amazing 3 night stay here. The location is perfect and very central. The rooms are modern, clean, homely and have everything you need. Staff are very kind and cannot do enough for you. They made us a cappuccino every morning with croissants. There is 24hr access to the fridge and kitchen where you can have a coffee at any time. The fridge is also stocked with water/orange juice/milk/yogurts that you have access to free of charge. Rooms are cleaned daily. Access to an iron on request. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
