Very Rude Staff & Dirty Room
Even though it was extremely expensive for its low standard (2 stars?), I booked the hotel because they were supposed to guarantee early check-in & late check-out as a Gold member.
At arrival I was required to pay half a day's cost to check in early. I had brought food with me since their restaurant is closed mostly post-covid, but there was no way to heat it. Nor was there a fridge in the room, but when I asked for one they came up with it while I was sleeping knocking on the door to wake me, even though the "Do Not Disturb" sign was clearly visible. The fridge was VERY dirty on the inside & smelled.
When I asked for late checkout the woman at the front desk said they would have to see in the morning. So I asked her to take a look at my booking which would guarantee late checkout, and she started making faces & looking at the people around her like I was crazy.
My best advice would be to just go in to the lobby to look at the great artworks and then leave. My worst hotel experience so far, and I've stayed at hundreds.
