When we arrived for check-in the Expedia reservation didn't exist; we weren't in the system. The receptionist left then returned with an apology, saying check in wasn't until 4pm. She then explained Expedia didn't enter the reservation in their system and further explained it would be about a 10min wait. While waiting, two separate guests arrived early to check in and were accommodated; that was perplexing. After getting to our room and unpacking, we took our shoes off to walk out on the balcony and realized there was sand sticking to our feet. Walking out on the balcony we found the source, lots of sand on the balcony. We didn't want to make a fuss and thought no problem they'll clean in the morning when they make the room. They did make the room in the morning but didn't clean the floors or the balcony. My wife explained the situation to the front desk and someone promptly went to our room and vacuumed and cleaned the balcony. All the personnel we came in contact with were gracious. The restaurants appetizers, drinks, and service were excellent. Kristy, our waitress sent a delicious slice of chocolate cake to our room with our dinner to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary. Our waitress and hostess were wonderful, making sure we're comfortable and taken care of. My wife truly enjoyed the spa where she received a facial and manicure. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return to your spa and resort. Thank you for the accommodations.
