I took the train to Rome Ostiense station on purpose to stay at this place. I knew it was around the corner from the station, so I avoided having to take a cab. Maurizio was great. Good communication. He uses
WhatsApp so We could call or text and I received the photo of the front door and address with good instructions. The place is exceptionally clean with cute IKEA decor in red and white. It’s the most organized place I’ve been in. I was instructed on how to use all the remotes. Every tv remote is different, so that was helpful. They have Netflix. There is a/c, but also openable windows. Traffic dies down at night, so you can open the window. They even provide a razor and face tonic, along with bath gel and shampoo. The kitchen is communal, but they have everything laid out for you by room number. Breakfast of yogurt, fresh fruit, milk and cereal, juices, brioches, crostata, etc. Honor system for a beer, etc. Maurizio was super helpful when I thought I had left my covid test results there. Alas, I found it in a very unlikely place. I’d stay again for sure.
