No after hrs customer service. Worst hotel stay my family and I have ever had. We accidentally locked the keys in the apartment at about 9:00 pm, and made multiple attempts to contact the apartment through text messages, WhatsApp, and phone calls. We called the numbers listed on the travel agents website. None of these were answered until the following morning at about 9:00 am. We were locked out of the apartment the entire night and had to spend it on the streets since we had no access to our wallets, identification documents or money to rent an alternative place to stay. I understand this emergency was after normal business hours, however I find it unacceptable that a reputable service provider like Orbitz/Expedia allows a listed apartment to conduct business with no way of handling emergencies of this sort or any accountability to the client. We contacted the police and they too were unable to reach the apartment owner or the travel agency used by the owner. We spent twelve hrs on the streets with no access to toilets, water or food. Needless to say, the bad memories from this experience will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
