A hotel that works alright for basically putting in your earplugs and crash in bed, but not a place you want to spend time.
I probably should have done a little more research about the location of this hotel, but this was my first time in Aalborg and I'm not familiar with the town. "Central" is an understatement since it's located literally at the bus terminal in a grey and industrial setting, which is convenient, but super uncharming.
I arrived before check-in time, which usually in normal hotels is never a problem if the room is available, but here I had to pay 100DKK for a service called "early check-in" even though the room was all set, which is just silly. They also didn't offer a safe place for storing luggage during the waiting time, what they have is a little half-shady closet that anyone from the street can access to, which ment I decided I rather pay for getting into my room than to loose my luggage.
The room was very spartanly (un)decorated. A carpet of some sort would've been nice. No closet. Plastic cups instead of glass, which is very unenvironmental (and also not that pleasant). Very thin walls, and unfortunately a lot of party guests in the other rooms.
On the plus side: Decent cleaning, big bed, wifi working, nice shower temperature and dark curtains.
Didn't have the breakfast so can't review on that.
Check-out super smooth. They also helped ordering a cab for me which was nice.
But overall, I don't recommend.
