We stayed in the rooms which were a bit more expensive to get the river view, which was certainly worth it. From this hotel you get a sunrise view of the calm river Vlatva with one of the most beautiful streets in The Czech Republic right in front of your windows, including "the dancing house" which is one of the many to-see's in Prague. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and can handle english at an enough level. We didn't try the breakfast because Prague offers so many cheap and excellent alternatives for that.
The wi-fi is the worst I have ever witnessed. 0,5mb/sec free and "premium" 8mb/sec for ~500CSK/day
The location is a bit off. It's right in the middle between the big tourist sites of Old Town and the Prague Castle. The Old Town is likely where you'll spend most of your time and there it's a bit of a hike. The path in to the city takes you along the river past beautiful islands, houses and national theatres though, so you'll easily forget about how much your feet hurts on your way home. We averaged 25000 steps a day. If you want to save your feet, there are always a tram nearby though. The closest tram is just over the nearby bridge which takes you basically anywhere worth seeing for a dollar per person.
The beds are south east asian style hard, and then some. Which some people love, some don't. Great for your back though.
Do - not - ever take taxis in Prague. Ever. If you really have to get home by cab some day (especially night), take an Uber.
