The front desk staff did her job and checked me in efficiently but with no smile, nor personal touch. Actually, no other hotel employee that I met ever smiled at me. Something's wrong...
The facilities were of course 100% clean and up to date, but plumbing in bathtub didn't work properly, no fridge in the room and not even a desk - even if said so in the description. There was a roller table to put at the sofa, but I don't want to sit there for hours to work...
Sustainability? Why do all hotels always keep the AC on in the rooms while there's no one checked in!??! 68 degree F when nobody needs a breeze is just a waste of power! Switch it off and let the guest switch it on! Just an idea.
Location? Well, if you travel to/from EWR, you can't get any closer... Which also surprises me, talking about sustainability, why they have a heavy fossile van as a shuttle bus! It's 1½ minutes walk!!!
I am a bit surprised about a lot of things with this hotel...
