We went on a mini-honeymoon for a long weekend.
The positive parts with the hotel: excellent and friendly service, extremely beautifully located on a big rock, the gym is new and clean, the private access to the sea and easiness to go into the sea, great pool and sunbathing opportunities and complete privacy from other visitors than the hotel guests. The breakfast was also really wonderful.
The negative parts with the hotel: the standard double room (with sea view) that we stayed in was very old and definitely not renovated in long time, dirt in the corners and the feel of 'used'. No coffee or tea in the room (no water boiler), and the restaurant food could have been a lot better for being Italy (a little bit Americanised) and we did not really recognise the five start level on the food / menu in the restaurant the products taste, the freshness (as we live in Switzerland we have access to great Italian food all the time). The surroundings of the hotel was full of garbage - I made a walk outside the hotel but on the little road that goes to the hotel and I was surprised to see so much trash everywhere. I guess the hotel could clean this up to make a better impression as this is the first thing you see before you arrive at the hotel.
All in all to be recommended for a shorter stay, a weekend away or similar.
