The hotel is OK, it's clean, it has all the basics that you could want. A plus for having electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. Everything looks pretty new, which is always positive. The receptionist was very nice (perfect English by the way) and helpful.
The breakfast is the biggest disappointment. In both Hampton by Hilton hotels that I've visited lately (one in Croydon, UK and this one in Nurnberg) I've probably had the worst breakfast experiences so far in my "hotel visiting career". There is so little to choose from that you really just want to get it overwith and head on away from there - not the best start on a day. Because of this I will probably not choose Hampton by Hilton anymore in the future if I'm planning to have breakfast at the hotel. Another thing was the shower - when you adjusted the temperature, it always took a couple of seconds before the water temperature had adjusted itself. This is very annoying. Also, there was no mini bar in the room (I never take anything from the minibars myself so I didn't mind that much - but somtimes I buy something from a grocery store nearby that I want to keep in the minibar fridge which I couldn't here).
The hotel is located close to the central station in some kind of cluster with several hotels next to each other. It is on the "wrong" side of the central station versus the centre but with only a 5-minute walk you're in the middle of the city.
I would probably try something else if visiting Nurnberg again.
