Amazing hotel if visiting the Ghibli Museum!
Stayed here for 2 nights because we were visiting the famous Ghibli museum which is just 30 minutes from this hotel, and also very close to Mitaka station. So this was the perfect location for us, so if you plan to visit the Ghibli museum I would REALLY recommend this hotel! The 35 minute walk there was also a bit of an adventure because of the surroundings, and also the street that leads to the Museum (which has cute little signs on the way telling you how close you are getting to the museum) and you will also have a glimpse of the Ghibli bus on the way, you could probably take a ride with it but we though it was already close, so we decided to walk and it was very pleasant.
Very friendly and helpful staff, and the double rooms are very nice. You also have a supermarket close by, and coffee shops (We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so we visited the local starbucks, so It's always a option).
It was the perfect location for us since it was pretty close to the Ghibli Musuem, which was the very reason we visited Mitaka and at the same time just next to the station. I also had a Japan Rail Pass so It's a good deal if you own one since you get discounts on JR hotels if you are a holder of the Pass.
