Koh Mudsum, also referred to as Koh Matsum, is a small island on the south side of Koh Samui. It’s a popular island among daytrippers for enjoying a picnic on its white-sand beach, and it also offers great opportunities for snorkelling, kayaking or just chilling out in the sunshine.
There are many tour operators offering day trips to Koh Mudsum. These trips usually start around 8 am to 8.30 am at Thong Krut Pier, at the southernmost tip of Koh Samui. A long-tail boat will then take you to the island in around 30 minutes and bring you back at around 3 pm or 4.30 pm.
