I have not been here since it was Intercontinental, really long time ago. Compared to back then, atmosphere changed. Rather cold, lots of US guests (my highlight: feed on the table in the lounge). Our room needed renovation, color coming of in the bath room, hair dryer did not work, problem with the water. It got fixed, but as I had an appointment I had to leave with towel dry hair and of course caught a cold. For what we paid it should not look like that. Spa was closed since Covid (it is 2024), the restaurant is only for breakfast, you could eat in the bar, they try to sell it as a restaurant. We went to the concierge for last minute Opera tickets, he offered them for 400 Euro per person. The max price at the Opera was 170 Euro. Maybe ok for US guests, who don‘t care about prices. But a shame for a concierge. The security wanted to ger me to the Costes for a little fee, no thanks. The best thing I can say is that at least I have great memories of past glory. And of course the neighborhood is great.
