This is a small hotel ideally located just south of Midtown, five minutes walk from Broadway and Fifth Avenue, the Empire State Building and Macy's. The service at the reception is personal and friendly.
Our room was small, as is customary in Manhattan and in hotels in tourist class. The rooms have a very narrow bed, you are familiar with beds in the "European standard" I recommended to book a twin bed room or a room with two double beds.
The rooms are very hot, although equipped with air conditioning. They are equipped with safe, desk and flat-screen TVs from Sony. You should be prepared to encounter a rather worn and disgusting carpet in the room, there is something you get used to quickly. No bedbugs noted. The rooms are very responsive! Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. Bathrooms have good and modern standard.
Reservation includes a free continental breakfast at the hotel. The offers were meager, but for those who like sweets like donuts, pastries, danish, cakes and croissants, no problem. The buffet moreover offered cereals, milk, coffee from machine, toast, waffles, fruit yoghurt, juice, fruit, jam, butter and Philadelphia cheese. Service is fast and friendly.
Recommended for those of you who just want a night shelter, this is not a fancy, cosy hotel, it's simply an hotel you don't stay at more than necessary.
