We had booked a room for five people. However, once we got there they told us in the reception that we couldn't have an extra bed in the room (even though this is what we had booked and I had even sent a message to the hotel reminding about that on hotels.com). It was midnight and we were stuck there with just beds for four people. They couldn't offer us any other rooms either since they were fully booked. Well we didn't have any better options really than to just spend the one night there we had booked since we didn't know the area and we're going to continue our trip the next day. So we got some extra sheets for the fifth person, but no mattress or anything. In addition to this, the whole room smelled like smoke and it was just disgusting!!! Once we had left the hotel all our clothes smelled like that smelly room. I think this wan the worst part of it all - having to sleep in a smoke smelling room. Disgusting.
