Poor service.
We booked 11 nights at this hotel. The thin inner curtains had a big hole, the sofa was stained and the whole room needed an updating.
When we arrived on the Friday we were asked if we wanted the room cleaned every day, every second day or not at all. We decided every second day.
On Saturday they cleaned the room, then nothing happened. Wednesday night my husband went down and asked them what was said on the computer about the cleaning and had it confirmed it should be every second day. Then on Thursday it was cleaned and after that no more till we left on Tuesday morning.
On top of that, there was electrical work being done on Sunday night, which we had been warned about. No electricity between 8pm till 2 am. The only thing was that they were straightening up an electricity pool right outside our window and there was a constant noise of banging, drilling, motors working until three o’clock in the morning. Imposible to sleep.
We told them that we wanted compensation both for the cleaning and for not offering us another room to sleep in that noisy night. I meen we stayed there for 11 nights!!
First they tried to come around it all, we wanted contact with the manager, but were told he would be coming Tuesday morning at nine, and we had to leave the hotel at 7 to fly back to Sweden.
As we have our daughter living here we come to visit frequently and have stayed at other hotels and this is by far the worst experience ever.
50% off for one night was what we got!
