Good location, poor service
If location is all, this place is fine. If you expect things to work, make another choise.
At arrival we were informed we wouldn't get the booked room due to renovation. We got an appartment a block away. They could have informed us in advance, but chose not to. Anyway, the appartment seemed fine and the staff were very friendly, printing useful info.
We found out the wifi didn't work. We reported this the first night. The night staff said it should work & that we must enter the right password.
The problem was reported again next morning & they promised to fix it.
Still not fixed by lunch. Staff claimed it works. Had to bring him to the appartment before he believed us. We were told it would be fixed.
Still not fixed in the afternoon. New staff claimed it works. Had to bring him too to the appartment before he believed us. We were told it's friday afternoon & too late to fix. Already the 4th time we reported the problem!
Would never book a hotel without wifi. I told this to the staff. We were only offered to move to another (third) building where we must split up in separate rooms. Not interested in this.
Told the staff to tell the manager it's unacceptable. Still no discount or better option was offered.
Good thing is we got late check out without extra fee. And (except from treating us like idiots when reporting the wifi) the staff were friendly.
No refill of toilet paper, had to ask for it at the reception across the street. Dust bunnies.
