Great hotel with super nice staff
Great hotel and wonderful staff. This is not a hotel in modern style but more of classic Bali historic decor and setting. The staff is wonderful and the food great. There is some catch up to do with maintenance after the Covid-years but that is expected for all places where there have been lockdowns. Some wear and tear to fix and for example the mattresses at the pool need to be changed. I give all hotels in these places about 12-15 months to catch up.
The hotel is located near the beach and the beach bars. It´s noisy with music playing but they normally stop around midnight so I was not bothered for my sleep.
The breakfast is á la cart which is in one way nice and sustainable but I missed to have a buffet to linger around and pick from. But the food you can choose from is very nice and tasty.
The SPA is also very nice and give great massages.
The speed of the Wifi was merely ok, would have appreciated faster speed.
The Japanese restaurant was great, tasty food but it happened that the main come before the starter.
Many nice restaurants in the area.
This hotel's biggest asset is the staff. They are very service minded, nice, remember your name and room, always a smile on their faces.
A hotel I warmly recommend.
