Will not be coming back
We booked this hotel quite some time ago since the dates were extremely busy in Auburn and many hotels were fully booked even 6 months before arrival. I read the comments and they seemed OK. But, the only thing that was good about this hotel was the bed. Very comfortable. However, the hotel is really run down and desperately needs an update. Carpet dirty, A/C freezing even in low cool setting (I now have a cold), toilet wobbly (something loose or missing from the base), shower running with water all night and making funny noises. The water never got more than lukewarm. Message lamp on the phone kept on blinking even though there was no message. The reception staff said they would take it off, but it kept on blinking. Second night, the room wasn't cleaned when we got back around 4:30 pm. No staff in the reception. We had to go down 3 times to find someone to ask about the cleaning. The room finally got cleaned around 6:30 by a very rude member of staff who let me know that he would be going home after our room was cleaned and asked us to hurry up and leave the room. Well, we won't be coming back any time soon!
