Pros:
* You can get a decent G&T in the lobby bar
* Free, stable and fast Internet connection (you need to log on every time you use it, however)
Cons:
* Very small room for a 5 star hotel
* The air-con made a strange rattling noice on level 3, and the room got too humid; had to sleep with the window open
* No proper bathtub (not as advertised), instead a strange, aquarium-like construction where you need to sit on the floor when taking a bath
* No proper, lockable bathroom door (please stop this nuisance - hotel guests want proper doors!)
* No tea & coffee making facilities
* Staff not - ahem - overly friendly
* Not able to order an iron to your room, "for safety reasons"; this guest has stayed in 100+ hotels, all over the world during 20+ years, and never been denied this basic facility. Utterly ridiculous.
* Swimming pool (if you can find it!) freezing
* Didn't feel like trying the restaurant; it would have been another aquarium-like experience, only orange-tinted this time
* Safe street, but not really a central location
Verdict: Management should have spent a bit less on fancy walls, and a bit more on installing proper bathtubs and kettles.
Tip 1: Avoid the over-priced breakfast and pop across the street, where you can get a sandwich and juice for €2,50
Tip 2: Avoid this hotel altogether, and pick the Turim down the road instead. Better prices, proper bathtubs, and you can have coffee / tea in your room whenever you want to.
