We stayed 12 nights at Truss Hotel, we had a big spacious room with a super comfy king-size bed.
We are overall happy with the hotel itself - cleaning was good, shower was fine, the service was OK (although the front desk staff could for sure be more service-minded, most of the time they did not even greet us when entering and leaving the hotel... before we greeted them first).
Before our trip, we had read a lot of reviews of this hotel and we must say we were a little worried about some of them. We would say that choosing this hotel is a bit of a lottery. If you get a good room, you will be happy. It depends on what is most important to you (location, cleaning, noise etc). For us, the location was great and we did not get bothered by the dated bathroom (some paint coming off the floor), this was fine for us. What bothered us the most about the room was that it was right next to a restaurant with an outdoor patio just outside. We were on the 4th floor so I would think the people below us were bothered even more. Some of the nights, they had some private events there and the music was SUPER loud! I mean, night club loud. You could not even watch TV during these events. Quite noisy in the room overall so if you are bothered by this, bring ear plugs or choose a quieter hotel!
Impossible to keep the AC on at night since it makes a lot of noise too (but this did not bother us either, since we don't want to keep the AC on while we sleep anyway).
Rooftop was nice!
