Avoid this hotel!
First of all, it is situated in Deira, the old town of Dubai, there most of guest workers live. Hard to get a taxi and still the reception refuses to pre-order one for you! The explanation is "don´t need to" still I had to wait for a taxi 30 minutes two days in a row. I end up in a room with the fan that you couldnt turn off and without no shampoo. When complaining the answer was " call us if you dont have shampoo" which is a good advice when you are standing in the shower. The key didnt work for times, the phone in the room didn´t work and the major problem, the warm water went of after 6-7 minutes. Though the hotel was focusing on Indian and Pakistan guests the breakfast buffé was inspirered by this. No yougurt, fresh fruit, cereals,brown bread, eggs but a lot of hot food whidh didnt suit me. The only good thing with this hotel was the bell boys who where very friendly and always smiling. Somehting you cant say about the reception staff who had no understanding for my problems. I met one Spanish and one Belgian guy and we did agree, dont stay here if you are used to European standards and want to stay close to the city. It the price would have been low and it would have been a "budget hotel" fine, but is wasnt.
