Hotel Cestelli is one of the nicest hotels I have ever visited. It was right in the heart of Florence, close to Ponte Vecchio and all the sightseeing. The hotel provides with free wi-fi and good-sized rooms. All the rooms share a bathroom, but while I stayed there, you never had to wait long in line.
My room was facing the street, but I rarely heard any noise. At most, it was a loud group of friends who were SO excited to go to dinner. Other than that, it is a very quiet and safe street. And just 5 minutes away you had everything - shopping, sightseeing, groceries store and the river Arno.
And just around the corner you had Piazza Santa Trinita with more expensive stores and the Salvatore Ferragamo shoe museum. And if you walk across the bridge Ponte Santa Trinita you have the best gelateria in Florence!
The staff - Alessio and Asumi was so sweet and nice. You could talk to them about anything. I used to live in Florence and we propably talked about that for a good 10 minutes!
