I recently had a stay at Orange County Hotel Belek, and unfortunately, it was a series of disappointments. Here are some specific points that made my experience less than satisfactory:
Widespread Smoking:
Guests were smoking everywhere, even in areas clearly marked as non-smoking. This was particularly concerning given the large number of children at the hotel. Staff even seemed to support this by providing ashtrays.
Food Quality and Variety:
The food at Orange County Hotel Belek fell far short of a five-star rating. The dishes were repetitive and limited to fried chicken fingers, fish sticks, and fries. The dessert options were dull, and the lack of fruit was noticeable. Despite arriving early for breakfast, not everything was ready, and the staff seemed disengaged.
Cramped and Noisy:
Orange County Hotel Belek was too small and not at all as depicted in the pictures. The restaurant was cramped, with tables too close together and a long line for food. The hallways were also narrow, and the noise from other guests was noticeable.
Disruptive Music and Air Fresheners:
The music was loud and played late into the night, which was particularly disruptive with a small child. Additionally, strong air fresheners were used throughout Orange County Hotel Belek.
Lack of Elevators:
The number of elevators at Orange County Hotel Belek was insufficient, leading to long wait times and frustration when they finally arrived.
