Being a member of the sister resort, I knew exactly what I was coming to - as far as it is a timeshare property and not a hotel. Milkshake lane as we call it hasn't changed and the entrance to Peninsula Bay is both under whelming. Reception has opened since last I was there - beautiful, but being on the western side of Tanjung Benoa, no breeze as Peninsula Beach has and no AC made it very hot. As I was sharing with a friend, we decided to upgrade from a Studio to a 1 Bedroom- 1st floor room with huge master suite walkthrough bathroom/dressing room, kitchenette with full fridge and large comfortable lounge (just as well as that's where I got to sleep) with TV and then out to the balcony. TV reception was poor to say the least, most of the English speaking channels we distorted. The free wifi worked great for the 1st week, then 5 days of nothing and no communication from management as to what was happening-great when trying to run a business whilst away. F&B - breakfast nothing special but all that you need, lunch around the huge pool standard and as you would expect, dinner over priced and sub standard - after eating in once we chose to eat out every other night. Swim up bar is great, but too often spoilt by kids splashing about at the bar. There are 5 pools in all but children only seem interested in the swim up bar. Also a great place to met new f
I describe it as a beautiful book with nothing inside - it does not have the soul, heart and warmth of Peninsula Beach.
