Staff very helpful and friendly, bedroom (with roof terrace) was great, esp as roof terrace gave us private sunbathing space. Hotel restaurants are very over-priced, even compared to brilliant michelin chef restaurant in nearby Sotogrande (a drive away): Cortijo Santa Maria 1962, which I highly recommend. Music is far far too loud in the lounge area and by the pools. Spoils what would otherwise be a great hotel. Breakfasts are fantastic, as well as cooked, there's an array or yoghurts, nuts and fruit, plus cakes galore, should you crave sugar first thing, and cava and bloody mary's.

While there were many positive aspects of our stay, several service issues fell below the standard expected of a 5-star hotel, which made our overall disappointing. On arrival, we received a warm welcome, a buggy transfer to our room, and the room itself was excellent-spacious, bright & comfortable. However, we were informed a safe would be installed in our room, and despite multiple reminders over 2 days, this never happened. The main issue throughout our stay was the buggy service. On several occasions, we waited 30+ minutes after requesting transport, requiring multiple follow-ups before a buggy arrived. This was particularly frustrating when attending a wedding, as despite arranging transport in advance, no buggy arrived and we were forced to walk to the lobby while our taxi waited. The staff were consistently friendly, polite, and clearly doing their best. Unfortunately, it felt as though the buggy service was under-resourced for the size of the resort. Our final impression was also disappointing. Checkout involved a lengthy queue, largely due to early check-ins being processed, and when we eventually reached the desk there was no enquiry about our stay or farewell. That said, there were highlights. The staff's attitude was excellent, the room was beautiful, and the breakfast was outstanding. I hope the hotel reviews its buggy operations, as improving this area would significantly enhance the guest experience and better reflect the quality expected of a 5-star property.

The perfect holiday

There is a certain poverty of words when trying to describe something truly special, but I will try my best! My stay at OKU Andalusia exceeded every expectation, and then reached even further! What you see in photos? Doesn’t even come close to how beautiful the place is. Yes, the curated style and design are absolutely stunning, but the true beauty of this place lies beyond the aesthetics - it’s in the ambiance, its energy, and above all, the people. There is a kindness here that cannot be performed. A warmth and generosity that greets you in every smile, every detail and every gesture. For 6 nights, I had the privilege of calling this place home. To leave OKU Andalusia felt almost like a comedown from ecstasy. The bittersweet ache of stepping out of a euphoric world and re-entering the mundane - this is how intoxicating the experience was. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Every single member of staff I interacted with made me feel truly seen. As if nothing was ever too much trouble, and every request was handled with such grace! I want to give special thanks to the incredible people who made my stay unforgettable: Jose, Elías, Axel, Filippo, Najim, Vanessa - just to name a few. Thank you x

We had a very nice roof terrace room looking out to beautiful country side, a sea view and views of the rock of Gibraltar. The terrace was beautifully furnished. Unfortunately the actual room was quite small for a premium priced room. Not enough space for 2 chairs, just a small, uncomfortable desk chair. Food in the several restaurants was excellent. Memorable quality breakfast breakfast.

Gorgeous hotel and a lovely stay. The staff were very accommodating and while we did have a problem with our room- a leak from an air con unit- they were not in control of- they were quick to move us to another room. Food was good- with three restaurants to choose from. The gym facilities were excellent and the indoor pool a welcome extra as we visited at the end of October. Mornings could be a bit chilly but the afternoons were beautiful and spent by the outdoor pools. Would recommend.
