On the website this 'hotel' looked lovely, but when we arrived we discovered that it was in fact a 'hostel' type hotel with the TV in a shared lounge/dining room with only two comfortable chairs. We got to our room through a shared not very clean 'kitchen' with all the other rooms coming off the shared 'kitchen'. It would have been a nightmare if anyone else was staying at the same time, but luckily we were the only ones staying the night (we wonder why?) so we didn't keep bumping into people we didn't know.
However, the very worst thing was the beds. We had single beds which were so small and hard they were extremely uncomfortable to sleep on, in fact we didn't sleep at all. When we explained this to the lady who organised the breakfast, she said 'all french beds are the same'. We totally disagree with this statement as we have stayed in some very lovely hotels in France for the price we paid (71e including breakfast and taxes) which have had very comfortable beds, both single and double!
The breakfast consisted of cereal which looked as if it had been on the counter for some time, 2 stale croissant and a french stick (which luckily was fresh) with jam and butter.
What a shame, this could have been a lovely working farm to stay in, but it definitely was not the place we were expecting and we would never recommend it to any one.
