After having been on the Florida west cost for a week we decided to try the Atlantic one for a couple of days.
The Hampton Inn seemed like a good fit so we booked without having seen it.
But we were right, so right in fact that we extended our stay two days.
The hotel is situate quite well on the US-1 and we had shops, malls and restaurants close by. Not so close that you could walk, but hey it’s the US so who walks right? Jokes aside, it was easy to find everything we needed without even searching.
The drive down to Jensen Beach was a couple of minutes so that became our morning routine.
The complex isn’t new but in no way run down, clean, fresh and a staff that goes above and beyond what I’m used to. We had a snag with the bill to the two day extension we made, but an apologize and 15 seconds later that was sorted.
Rooms where big enough, clean and in a good state, but the beds could have been a tad softer. Now that’s me trying to find something to mention that isn’t all sunshine.
The complimentary breakfast was very good and I took advantage of the free coffee at least 3 times a day, that was good coffee.
Pool was behind the hotel so the US-1 didn’t bother, sure it was next to the parking lot but that didn’t really matter. Our five year old claimed it to be a “good pool” because that’s where he learned to swim.
