This is just the most lovely hotel. The breakfast has a very wide selection, the cleaning staff are very kind, and thorough, the rooms are clean and comfortable and there´s only a few minutes walk to the nearest station. But.. ( and i only write this to help the management improve ) We felt unwelcome. That is a very strong sentence to write, but when the reception staff hardly greets you,yet looks at you, is extremly recilient towards even answering your questions or proffesionally communicate there´s a huge problem that needs to be fixed. There were three ladies in the reception, none of them ever remotely smiled, asked to help , up to the point my mother turned to me wondering if they might have had a bad day ( should that ever be he customers problem?) Last day i even had to check the name tag of one of the ladies as i asked for directions and she rolled her eyes and silently picked up a map.. her male colleague( not in reception) stepped in and kindlt helped us ous. As i´m working in the servicebusiness i reacted very strongly to her poor attitude and hopefully there will be a chance for her to improve her manners in the future. Still i highly recommend this hotel as everything else was perfect.
