What could have been a great experience was not…
Each hotel is free to set its own prices and what is included and not.
In this case the hotel chose not to include breakfast which I find disturbing, but ok as I simply just add the fee to get a fair comparison when deciding between various hotels.
Upon check-in I was again informed that breakfast was not included but available for an extra charge and that I had to preorder/make a reservation. As soon as I came into the room I went to the breakfast reservation page only to find that first available slot was after 930!!!
Breakfast is by far the most important meal of the day and not having breakfast totally ruins the day. It doesn't matter if the room looked this or that way, of the pillow was soft or hard, if there was a peekaboo shower, a bath tub or rain shower or whether or not the slippers were comfy or not. Without breakfast the entire stay was totally useless.
In the end I’m glad I wasn’t charged 20 Euros for the non existing breakfast.
Will have to think more carefully before choosing my next hotel.
