Overpriced and not the experience you expect – rea
We stayed at Royalton for 13 days total and here is our experience. First, we visited Royalton for nine nights and as "regular" guests which means no Diamond club. We were quite unhappy with a lot of things like the food which we taught was really bad but since it was our first visit to Mexico, we just thought that maybe it's the Mexican standard. However, we later stayed at two other hotels and then discovered that it's definitely not true and that there is a whole lot higher food standards than at Royalton. Other things we were quite unhappy with was that some floors smelled like there was a lot of mold, the elevators which seriously take forever and the overall service and also the all-day noise by the pool. However overall we really enjoyed our stay due to the amazing beach and the beach view, the location of the hotel, the cleaning was really good and most of all because some of the staff members. A big thanks to Angel at the pool (he was really amazing and always had a big smile whenever he saw us), Ivan at the pool, Manuel at the pool and most of the vibe team members.
However, when we came back to the Royalton the second time and now as a Diamond club member we were really devastated with our stay and here is why. (Now you might wonder why we came back especially after staying at an AMAZING hotel in between and the simple answer is that your plans got changed and there were no rooms left where we were, and we didn't want to risk it at yet another hotel since almost
