Port Aransas is on Mustang Island just off the coast of Texas and is famed for its Gulf of Mexico beaches, panoramic viewpoints, dolphin sightings and animal encounters. Red Dragon Pirate Cruises offer a chance to see the Gulf from an authentic pirate ship, while the Port Aransas Museum showcases centuries of local history in an early 20th-century home. Golfers love to shoot a round on the championship course at Palmilla Beach Golf Club.
