Stayed one night in Miami after arriving and choose Coral Gables. Quite a good choice, nice area to see with Miracle Mile etc. Hotel St. Michel is a charming and old, classic, hotel, i.e. rooms not the biggest etc. but liked it. As often in the US, ac is old and noisy, here no exception (quite strange as all places tends to have even cold(!) inside that not better solutions are used over-all...). Parking was easy the day we visited, 20 USD right opposite the hotel, would have been good with a 15 min parking outside the hotel for check-in. Short walking to Miracle Mile. Next day took a drive in the area for sightseeing, worth the extra trip. Not perfect but would not hesitate to stay here again. Did not try the restaurant, tired after arriving, and not open for breakfast as far as we could see.
