I really enjoyed the historical building that the Riggs Hotel is in. I also enjoyed the bar downstairs in the bank vault. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good also.
The only thing that I would say I didn’t like is that I was promised drink tickets upon check-in and I did not receive any.
The location of the hotel is also very nice because it is located near a lot of landmarks and museums.

Did not seem like a 5-star hotel. It was older and outdated, very little amenities, the room was small and the double queen beds were actually full not queen. The mattresses were pretty thin, and the shower valve didn’t work great and water pressure was poor. Would definitely not stay here again for the price. This is more like a 3.5 star hotel not 5 star. The restaurant downstairs was nice and the staff was nice as well, fairly good location as well.
