I’ve been staying in many hotels all around the world. And this was far the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel and this is suppose to be a 5 star hotel.
We had booked 2 nights, with half board. When we checked in, we got told that we didn’t have half board. It clearly was written in our booking. We didn’t get any help at all! We just got told that we have to contact hotels.com ourself.
Once we got to the room, we called the guest service to speak to the duty manager regarding our half board AND regarding a lot of stuff missing in your hotel room. There was NO toilet amenities, only 1 bathrobe and it’s was a 2 bed booked for two persons. NO face towels, only ONE set of bath towel. There was wine, but NO wine glasses, and NOT even coffee, just tea. NO cushions on the balcony chairs! (We noticed that our neighbors had cushions on theirs) AND one of our chairs was broken and I almost fell and hit me if it wasn’t for me grabbing the side table.
Anyway, we called about 4 times until we finally got to speak to the duty manager. And it took him 2 and a half hours to come to our room to hear us out and he would make sure we would get everything. Another 30 min went by and NOTHING. I called again and was super upset. Then someone finally came with a FEW stuff. Still no wine glasses. And still no confirmation about our half board. So we ordered food from outside. The next day, NO ONE still hadn’t get back to us. We decided to check out 1 night earlier, worst experience ever
