Reservation was canceled and that it was because my credit card declined. Since I had not attempted to pay yet, I not sure how this could happen. Hotels.com attempted twice to resolve the issue however, the hotel, with 3 men at the front desk, did not pick up the phone. Every hotel in an hour radius was sold out. Me and my two daughters had to drive over a hour late at night to find another place to stay, a significant distance from our event. When my husband called this hotel, they did answer the phone and when threatened with a lawsuit, not our typical strategy, a room magically appeared. Since I no longer felt safe at this location we went to the other hotel.
